By bringing all sectors relating to animal science together, BSAS will lead the international debate on the challenge of change and adapting to the new ‘normal’, post Covid-19 and Brexit.

Leading international speakers will share their insights on the latest ground-breaking research developments and practical solutions to underpin sustainable animal production.

Delegates will enjoy engaging discussion and lively debate around the latest developments in animal science, agriculture, policy and trade, education and knowledge exchange.

Bespoke sessions will be devoted to discussion and lively debate on how we can unify approaches to improve the performance and wellbeing of animals.

As a champion of animal science and technology this year’s virtual conference will incorporate a dedicated early career programme providing an international platform showcasing the exciting work of our emerging scientists.

The programme, spanning four days, is as dynamic as it is flexible, enabling delegates to customise their experience to exactly what they need.

With one simple login, delegates can enjoy the full programme of plenaries, breakouts, networking and live question and answer sessions, choosing to join their preferred sessions. In addition, all sessions will be available on demand so delegates needn’t miss a moment.

There will be designated digital spaces for virtual functions, networking and discussion groups to continue to create meaningful connections. Through use of  the app, this will allow delegates to safely connect directly with each other.
