Job Opportunity: Director of Innovation

Exciting new opportunity for a Director of Innovation to develop and deliver the University of Edinburgh's Easter Bush Campus Innovation strategy and the creation of an innovation ecosystem to support commercialisation opportunities. Deadline for application is 31st January 2023, 5pm.

The post holder is responsible for the operational and financial sustainability  of the Roslin Innovation Centre (RIC) including recruitment and retention of tenants, as well as managing innovation activities, which foster integration with the wider campus (in line with BBSRC Research and Innovation Campus strategy).

This role will lead, motivate and manage the RIC & Innovation support team and  is accountable for all business planning and financial management of Roslin Innovation Centre and associated Innovation activities;   including negotiation of service level agreements, marketing and communication, space allocation and lease management as well as ensuring the RIC branding covers all Campus Innovation activities.
