Midlothian Science Zone Business Forum with Business Gateway Midlothian

Midlothian Science Zone (MSZ) Business Forum is hosted several times a year to encourage engagement and collaboration between organisations 'in the zone' and aims to bring together a wide range of businesses to identify shared support needs, collaborative opportunities and share knowledge across the region; signposting to research, expertise and business services.

This Business Forum will be joined by Robbie Broomfield, Business Growth Advisor with Business Gateway Midlothian

Robbie has over 20 years business consulting and enterprise support experience and his role there is to support Midlothian-based business in all aspects of start-up, growth, funding and strategy as part of the national Business Gateway Service.



Business Gateway works closely with Scottish Enterprise and other enterprise agencies referring businesses with high growth potential to these partners for further support. This ensures a joined-up approach to business development in Scotland providing businesses  with access to local and national resources that are tailored to their needs.

Robbie will outline the assistance that Business Gateway, Midlothian Council Economic Development Service and the broader enterprise support agencies can provide to companies based within Midlothian Science Zone.

Midlothian Council is a Midlothian Science Zone Partner and this Business Forum will provide an opportunity to address your questions to Robbie and learn more about what Business Gateway has to offer, and in particular the support and services available to those 'in the zone'.

There will also be time for introductions, questions and business networking with other guests.



This event is free to attend for those who work within Midlothian Science Zone. Places are limited due to venue capacity so please book early.  Light refreshments will be provided - if you have any dietary requirements please contact Emma McCallum, Project Co-ordinator.
