One Health Series Keynote: Tony Holohan

The team behind the One Health Series at The University of Edinburgh's Easter Bush Campus are  hosting Professor Tony Holohan for a keynote presentation and discussion, ‘Towards making One Health impactful’.

Professor Holohan was the Chief Medical Officer of Ireland from 2008 to 2022, is currently Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for One Health, and Adjunct Full Professor of Public Health in the School of Health and Agricultural Sciences at University College Dublin.

  • 1:10pm-2:00pm - Keynote with Professor Tony Holohan
  • 2:00pm - Further discussion with Professor Holohan will be welcome after the keynote
This is a public event and free to attend.





The One Health Series of events 2025 mark One Health Day on 3rd November. The programme includes keynote addresses from distinguished speakers, an art exhibition, and a seminar series showcasing activities from each of the five clusters in the new The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies Strategic Plan.
