Join is for an introduction to Innovate UK Business Connect and Interface, to find out more about the support available for innovators to build trusted connections and drive business improvement and innovation through academic collaboration.

Joanna Scales, Knowledge Transfer Manager, working in the AgriFood team will present 'An introduction to Innovate UK Business Connect'.

Innovate UK Business Connect (IUKBC) support innovators to make trusted connections and to identify opportunities and funding within Innovate UK and beyond.

Louise Arnold, Business Engagement Executive, will present 'How Interface can help drive business improvement and innovation through academic collaboration'.
 
Interface brings Scotland’s business and academic communities together. With connections into all Scotland’s universities, colleges and research institutes the Interface team supports businesses, third and public sector organisations by building collaborations with academia. 


Interface, helps drive business improvement and innovation by tapping into the vast array of resources; knowledge, skills and facilities, that exist within Scotland’s Universities, Research Institutes and colleges. 

Interface’s free and impartial service can help companies grow and scale, by accessing academic expertise to solve challenges, providing a vital link between researchers and industry, to drive impactful research and development projects, saving time and resources.

This session will incorporate brief presentations followed by Q&A. There will also be time after the session for attendees to discuss any specific collaborative opportunities with the presenters.
