George Freeman MP visits Easter Bush Campus

During a tour of Scotland's R&D clusters, George Freeman, Minister for Science, Research and Innovation visited Edinburgh and Glasgow - the central belt of innovation. 

The visit to Easter Bush Campus included a showcase of  world-class research in animal bioscience spending time at the Roslin Institute to hear more about expertise in Animal Health and Agritech and viewing facilities at the Large Animal Research and Imaging Facility (LARIF). 


"The James Hutton Institute and the Roslin Institute are internationally recognised centres of plant an animal health, key to modern agriculture, agritech, net zero, veterinary animal health and welfare.

This is Scotland, at a really exciting time in the fourth industrial revolution, creating opportunities all round the United Kingdom.
