Gateway to Easter Bush Campus
The £30 million development of the Roslin Innovation Centre forms part of the University of Edinburgh’s ambitious programme of work, in line with the Easter Bush Campus Masterplan, which will deliver a European Centre of Excellence in Animal Sciences and Food Security.
Construction commenced in March 2015 and the building was completed and open for business in August 2017.
This time lapse movie of the construction of the Roslin Innovation Centre and Campus Hub represents the first stages of the build and compresses the activity into a little over two minutes from seven still images a day, taken at hourly intervals from 0900 to 1500 from 28 May 2015 to 11 November 2016.

In addition to the Roslin Innovation Centre, Atkins is also designing a £12 million Energy Centre which will provide the energy requirements of the University’s entire Easter Bush Campus and its Advanced Computing Facility.
